TRAINING PROGRAMS

St. Marys Ambulance Service offers a variety of training programs to meet the needs of individuals and organizations in the community. Please contact us directly for any special training requests that are not listed below, we can certainly try and accommodate to your needs. 

HEART SAVER

Heart Saver CPR/AED is a course designed for those with no medical training or knowledge.  This course teaches about the immediate steps that need taken in order to help save a life in the event of a cardiac emergency, as well as provide hands on training in basic CPR and AED use. This course is tailored toward treating patients over the age of adolescent through adult.

Basic Life Support 

Basic Life Support is a course designed for healthcare professionals. This course teaches individual as well as two person CPR for all ages (adults, toddlers, infants), AED and Defibrillator usage, and Choking.

FIRST AID

First Aid is a course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head neck and back injuries, heat and cold emergencies, and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies.

STOP THE BLEED

Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency until professional help arrives. This course will provide the student with hands on training in the use of tourniquets, bandaging, and other hemorrhage control tactics.
